Growing up between China and America, I was always caught in between worlds. Moving around a lot growing up helped shape my own perspective on the world, which naturally turned me towards creating. After playing around with 3D animation & video editing all throughout high school, I picked up my first camera when I was 19, where I used my passion for sports to land my first big break - working with my college's basketball & football teams.
After graduating from business school, I took a gap year to explore the creative world full time. I briefly worked as the head creative producer at an NIL sportswear brand before taking a leap of faith and freelancing full-time. That's when I started finding my own lane, blending traditional productions with surreal, internet-influenced aesthetics, which has lead to working with Lexus, MLB, Vans, Chicago Bulls, as well a bunch of cool film & music projects throughout the years.
Over time, I've naturally stepped into more directing, but editing is still in my DNA. For me, directing and editing are inseparable parts of building a visual world, and I'm always thinking about how rhythm, structure, and angles will live in the final cut. For every project I direct, I'm also leading the post process – often editing the work myself or leading the process so the final piece delivers exactly envisioned.
